Location & Access
Hotel Am Schloss is located directly beneath the Heidelberg Castle, with the funicular station to the castle located in the same building. The hotel is within a 10-minute walk from Heidelberg-Altstadt Train Station and a 5-minute walk from the University. Guests can walk to the Old Bridge and Philosopher's Way as well as the entire Old Town District.
Views & Terrace
The hotel has a rooftop terrace that offers city views and a direct view of the castle above. Guests can eat breakfast on this terrace when weather permits. In the evening, the terrace is open for drinks with the castle lit up overhead.
